This ambitious renovation project in Arroteia is set in motion in collaboration with Dutch architect Monique Stevens. It involves the transformation of a main two-storey house and two adjacent single-storey antique buildings. The site will ultimately be divided into two independent residences — each designed to offer comfort, space, and a strong connection to the serene Algarve landscape.

The architectural plans, currently being finalised by a local architect based on Monique’s concept, are set to define two high-end homes, which will be a generous family residence with six bedrooms, a studio space, and a private swimming pool. The goal is to preserve the charm of the original buildings while introducing refined, modern elements suited for luxurious everyday living.

The owners are primarily based in the Netherlands, so I provide full construction oversight and on-site coordination — acting as the local eyes and ears throughout the process. Once the planning phase is complete, we aim to begin construction in early September 2025.
